I used samples of from some of the images that I took on a research trip to London and zoomed in on certain areas so that I could have a go manipulating the images. The bricks being an interesting pattern to play with I choose to use colours that I will be using within the magazine.
I found this tree next to the river by Somerset house, I loved the pattern that was created by the broken off pieces of bark but also the light shining through the leaves on the tree. I could use these images as backgrounds, merged into pages but also within titles.
